More early AM MLP doodles to start my day with a smile. I love drawing these girls stylized like this. Don’t get me wrong, I like their original more anime-like style but I prefer to doodle em a little more toony.

-Staedtler color pens, Copic Marker, Prismacolor Marker, a teensy bit white color pencil.

Going through a bit of an art block, no work on commissions for days. What a shame. <:[

So I scribbled a really quick Pinkie Pie and took this as a simple opportunity to test out my new 20 count set of Staedtler color pens. I am happy to report that they aren’t destroyed once Copic Marker or Prismacolor Marker go over them. Even multiple layers and scrubbing a bit with the purples for a wet-looking shadow didn’t wipe them out! Wow!

So this is my current Skype icon. I DUNNO.

I really dig MonkeyFist. He’s a character close to my heart.

Also, this is a pretty good example of my BS backgrounds with a gazillion layers!

It snowed yesterday and today… it’s still snowing. I’m tempted on going out in it… but I worry about snowballs being thrown by a certain lame-o. (cough.cough.my partner. ahem.)

So have a quick warm-up “Dexter’s Laboratory” doodle of Dexter being the jerk he is, rearing back to throw a wad of snow at Mandark, who’s equally a jerk. Maybe coming over to challenge Dexter to a battle was a bad idea in this kind of weather… he’s learned some interesting skills from his father. Mandark, just go home. :C

I… I couldn’t resist. Kip and Roy G. Biv are just perfect. (as are the other members of the cast!) They belong to this talented person!

I hope you like this little doodle. I also hope to get to a bigger, more serious piece later but this had to happen right now. Because I’m a silly, bashful goof. ahem. UvU
